In Houston we have a range of pretty good schools - Private, Public, Montessorie, IB, Magnet, Vanguard and charter schools. Many options are within easy reach inside the loop 610. This books helps you know the facts for each school such as diversity, specialization etc.
When your kid needs to choose a school in Houston this can be a very handy book. While numbers are not the only factor, and nothing beats seeing a school in action to get a feel for the atmosphere, sometimes there are still questions you wished you had asked. That is where this resource is helpful.
I am using this book to help us choose a High school for my older child. Since each child's needs and interests are different and what each school offers is different the parent often has to do a careful and time-consuming job of matching them up as best possible.
